But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. (Matt 6:6, ESV) I have been incredibly encouraged by speaking with many of you over the past few weeks about wanting to have a deeper prayer life. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. (1 Jn 5:14-15) Good morning church. It’s wonderful to be together as the church of Christ to publicly worship our risen Saviour together. We do this because we have a real hope that has been held out to us in this world. Read more
